Re-Focus!

James 3:16, "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." We are living in a day where many are not for the things of God anymore-they say we have "progressed". It's all about self: living my truth, my body-my choice, self-gratification, self-love/hatred, self-righteousness, self-appointed...etc. When we remove God, the opposite of what God is fills that void. Instead of order; there is confusion. Instead of goodness and love; there is envy, pride, and hate. If we truly want to see a change in this world, we need to get back to God and live by His principles. Jesus came to give life and give it more abundantly (John 10:10). Remove the focus off self. The Bible calls it demonic (James 3). Be humble, give grace, be forgiving, be peacemakers, be quick to listen; slow to speak. And most importantly, put God first and be more Christ-like. Amen.
